Penn Yan, NY, June 6, 2014 - Coach and Equipment, the United Auto Workers (UAW), and Coach and Equipment employees are proud to make a $10,000 donation to the Yates Community Endowment Disaster Relief Fund.

The Disaster Relief Fund was established by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, home of the Yates Community Endowment, to quickly respond to those affected by the severe flooding in Yates County. They are currently working hard at securing donations and ensuring that everyone affected receives support.

“One of the key values at Coach and Equipment is to support the local community we have been a part of for the past century,” said Rick McMullen, President of Coach and Equipment. “We are extremely proud to work with Coach and Equipment employees and the UAW, to bring in a donation that will help those who have been affected by the recent flash flood.”

“I feel so honored to be a part of such a strong and generous community,” said Katie Nord Peterson, co-chair of the Yates Community Endowment. “We are so fortunate to have businesses like Coach and Equipment, who are dedicated to helping the Penn Yan community during this time of need.”
